Sake Restaurant Melbourne my Birthday weekend.
http://www.sakerestaurant.com.au/melbourne
Hi Family and friends,
Kim and I ate at this new Japanese resturant last night after the play, "One man Two Govinours" , its situated under the arts Center over looking the Yarra river.
If you luv seafood, you got to come to this place! Warning! It's not cheap!
Etc $30 for 6 oysters, but those oysters where the most mouth watering morsels I have ever tasted! They had a choice off 3 different toppings on the oysters, they where all yummy.
We then had small tasting morsels of:
Scallops,
Barimundi & rice,
Tuna sashimi,
then a tasting plate of deserts.
Everything was top notch, the food, wine, service, funky building, and the view (including Kim).
Bestest regards,
Carl

Maroondah Hospital 21 Feb 2013
Maroondah Hospital: 21 Feb 2013
Three days Two nights.
I just returned home from Hotel Maroondah Hospital, I was in Emergance Thursday afternoon after suffering terrible painful stomach cramps. It sent my alarm bells ringing again! What, not again, after recovering from the last meltdown 19 months ago.
They told me its more than likely a blockage from a adhesion on the outside of the small bowel to the abdominal wall. (from previous operation and scar tissue)
So no food or water for next 24 hrs, and see if it clears, after giving me morphine and anti nausea meds, I waited it out. Luckily after getting transferred and admitted to a ward bed (4 hrs later) I saw my illiostomy bag fill with number two's. What a relief!
From then on I was on a clear liquid diet for the next 24 hrs , by friday night I could have some soup, woo-hoo!
Saturday a light breakfast and was then allowed to leave hospital in time for lunch. Yay.
They say if your had one blockage, you may get more in the future, great! Something to look forward to.

As I drive my son to swimming lessons in the 37deg C heat, guess what song comes on the iPod? Couldn't stand the weather by SVR aka Stevie Ray Vaughn. ! A very fitting song considering the climatic conditions.

Btw: I saw him live at festival hall Melbourne back in 1985, before he was taken from us in a air accident.
What a phenomenal blues guitarist.
Sent from my iPod-touch.
Cheers Carl H.
