I'm listening to "Hey Hey my my, into the black" Neill Young as I type
this.
Two days ago I did my third ride for the new year, slowly trying to
regain some sort strength and fitness since my transplant on the 30
Oct 09, I managed a very slow 12 km in the 29deg c evening air. I mean
real slow, any slight incline sent my heart rate to 85 % as I searched
for lower gears on my mountain bike.

The next day I sort of felt more off than normal, it wasn't till I
checked my temp at 6 pm I found it was reading 38C!
That sent alarm bells to me as my immune system is not up to the
normal range.

So off to Boxhill hospital emergency department for some anti-byotics
and observation just to be on the safe side. Didn't get any sleep
overnight in emergency, as it was to noisy. Hopefully will get a bed
in the ward soon?
