Boxhill Hospital Again

I spent most of yesterday in Emergency dept. Boxhill Hospital. I was doing a strengthening program at rehab in the morning and got a bit breathless. They called a Ambulance because they where worried my breathlessness might by caused by my blood clot in my arm moving to my lungs!

Three test later,
thankfully the radioactive X-ray they did on my lungs showed a negative :-)

I'm so glad to be alive, but the slowness of my recovery is testing my patience. I guess I must think like I was in ICU and hospital for nearly three months, it's going to take a minimum of that time to start feeling well?

When I look back to how I was in hospital after waking up from a coma, tubes in every oriface, puffed up because of 15 kg of water retention. Teeth mouth coated in a dark tar because of thrush. No strength to even raise my arms up because of muscle loss ( 10kg).

I realize I have come a long way! As my head doctor who basically put me in a coma so my body would try and fix it's self, he always told me your doing great! Just "Slowly Slowly"!
